1. Overview

SCube LinkedBridge ("the Extension") is a Chrome browser extension that extracts LinkedIn profile and company data and saves it directly to your Salesforce org. This Privacy Policy explains what data the Extension accesses, how it is used, and what it never does with your data.

2. Data the Extension Accesses

The Extension reads the following data solely to perform its core function — extracting LinkedIn data and logging it to Salesforce:

• LinkedIn page content — profile fields (name, headline, title, company, location, about, experience, education, skills, certifications, languages, contact info) and company fields (name, website, industry, headcount, founded year, description, specialties, tagline, headquarters, followers, recent posts) of the page you are currently viewing
• Salesforce OAuth token — obtained via the OAuth 2.0 flow; stored only in chrome.storage.local on your device
• User settings and field mappings — preferences such as default save type, field mappings, enrichment provider choice, and theme; stored only in chrome.storage.local on your device
• Enrichment API keys — Apollo.io or Clearbit API keys you optionally enter; stored only in chrome.storage.local on your device and never logged or transmitted to SCube

3. How Data Is Used

• Salesforce record creation / update — extracted LinkedIn fields are sent directly from your browser to your own Salesforce org via the Salesforce REST API to create or update Lead, Contact, and Account records
• Duplicate detection — name and email fields are sent to your Salesforce org in SOQL queries to find matching records before saving
• Account enrichment (optional) — when you explicitly click ✨ Enrich, the company name and/or domain is sent directly to your chosen enrichment provider (Apollo.io or Clearbit) using your own API key. You review each returned field individually before anything is saved to Salesforce
• Local extraction cache — extracted data is stored locally in chrome.storage.local and displayed in the extension popup; it never leaves your device except when you initiate a save to Salesforce

4. Data We Do NOT Collect

• We do not collect, transmit, or store any LinkedIn data or Salesforce data on any server we operate
• We do not collect analytics, usage metrics, crash reports, or telemetry of any kind
• We do not collect your Salesforce credentials, OAuth tokens, or enrichment API keys — they remain on your device only
• We do not share any data with any third party except your own Salesforce org and your chosen enrichment provider (using your own key)
• We do not use cookies or tracking pixels
• We do not have user accounts, registration, or any server-side infrastructure

5. Enrichment Providers (Optional)

If you configure enrichment, the Extension sends the company name and/or domain to your chosen provider using your own API key:

• Apollo.io (optional, BYOK) — governed by Apollo's Privacy Policy
• Clearbit (optional, BYOK) — governed by Clearbit's Privacy Policy

Enrichment is entirely optional. The Extension functions fully without it. Your API key is stored only in chrome.storage.local and is never sent to SCube.

7. Data Storage & Retention

All data stored by the Extension lives exclusively in chrome.storage.local on your device:

• OAuth token — retained until you click "Disconnect" in the popup or uninstall the Extension
• Settings, field mappings, and API keys — retained until you clear them or uninstall the Extension
• Extraction cache — retained until you navigate away from the LinkedIn page or clear it manually
• Save history — retained locally; you can view and clear it from the History tab at any time

Uninstalling the Extension removes all locally stored data automatically via Chrome's standard extension lifecycle.

8. Security

• All communication with Salesforce and enrichment providers uses HTTPS/TLS
• OAuth tokens and API keys are stored only in chrome.storage.local, sandboxed to the Extension and not accessible by websites or other extensions
• The Extension uses Chrome Manifest V3, which enforces strict Content Security Policy and prohibits remote code execution
• Enrichment API keys are shown as *** in all extension logs and are never echoed in plaintext

9. Children's Privacy

The Extension is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect any information from children. It is a professional productivity tool intended for Salesforce users in a business context.

10. Changes to This Policy

If this Privacy Policy is updated, the revised version will be published at this URL with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the Extension after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
